Pricing
Clear pricing, without product markups
Your quote separates professional service charges from event consumables. The products we supply for your event—such as mixers, garnishes, ice, cups and napkins—are charged at our cost, without a product markup. Applicable sales tax is itemized separately.
Alcohol is purchased separately by the client or venue and is not included in Shake & Gather’s invoice.

- Still water and four selected nonalcoholic beverage varieties are included. Sparkling water counts as one variety, with up to two flavors. Selections and quantities are confirmed during event planning.
- Four standard mixers suited to your menu
- Cups, napkins, and package-appropriate garnishes
- Full setup and breakdown
- Alcohol purchasing guidance
- Local travel within our standard Chicago service area
- We use coolers and beverage bins appropriate to your event; decorative beverage displays are confirmed separately.
- Available choices may include cola, diet cola, lemon-lime soda, ginger ale and sparkling water; selections are confirmed during event planning.
- Choose four standard mixers suited to your menu. Options include cranberry, orange, pineapple and grapefruit juices, sour mix, club soda, tonic and ginger ale. Ginger beer and specialty ingredients are available for an additional charge.
- Standard recipe garnishes are included. Premium garnish upgrades are separately quoted.

We handle the bar experience.
Shake & Gather is a dry-hire mobile bar service. These inclusions apply to full-service packages and do not automatically apply to bartender-only labor.

No. Alcohol is purchased separately by the client or venue and is not included in Shake & Gather’s invoice. We send you a recommended shopping list to help you plan quantities based on your guest count and confirmed menu.
Chicago and nearby suburbs. Travel to your venue within our standard Chicago service area is included. Any additional distance-zone travel, plus parking, tolls or extraordinary access charges, is disclosed in your quote before you book.
Yes, every bartender maintains BASSET certification as required in Illinois.
For holiday parties and weddings, reaching out eight to twelve weeks ahead is ideal. We'll always check availability for shorter timelines, and bookings accepted 30 or fewer days before the event are handled as short-notice bookings.
We recommend staffing and bar setup based on your guest count, menu, venue and service needs.
Selected nonalcoholic beverages are included in full-service packages. Enhanced mocktails and expanded zero-proof menus are available as quoted additions.
