Privacy Policy

We collect the information you give us when you request a quote or book — your name, contact info, and event details — and use it only to plan your event, process payment, and communicate with you.

Payment is handled securely through Square; we never store your full card details. We don't sell, rent, or share your information with anyone outside what's needed to deliver your event.

My Event accounts

If you create a My Event account, we store the plan details you save — your event information, beverage preferences, saved calculator estimates, shopping lists, the documents we assign to your event and any requests you send us. You sign in with your email address through our authentication provider; we don't keep a separate password database.

Your events, saved plans and documents are visible to you and to Shake & Gather. They are not visible to other customers. You can update your name, phone number and communication preferences at any time in Account Settings, and signing out clears saved data from the device you're using.

Payments and invoices

Invoices are issued and processed by Square, which is the source of truth for amounts, taxes, due dates, payments and refunds. Opening an invoice from your event takes you to Square's own hosted page; card details are entered there and are never stored by us.

Communication preferences

Messages about your event are part of the service. Anything else — news, seasonal ideas and offers — is optional and only sent if you choose to receive it. You can change that choice at any time in Account Settings.

Account and data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and stored event data from Account Settings. We'll confirm what can be removed. Invoices, signed agreements and related records may need to be kept for tax, accounting or legal reasons, and we'll tell you exactly what has to stay before anything changes.
